My name is Melina and I am the author and editor of this blog.

I am just a regular girl doing a regular 9 to 5 job in Mumbai. But what makes this blog and me different you may ask? Well, a few years ago I started this passionate venture of mine along with my YouTube (Melina F) channel. I realized that showcasing my life on a blog and talking to a camera at dawn was what I have been seeking all my life as a passionate gateway. Nothing makes me happier than to share each happening and knowledgeable experiences of my life on this blog. I will be sharing a whole lot of experiences on this blog and on all my social media handles alike. If you would like a mixed bag of sassy, cool and fun things that will make your day or bring a smile to your face then STAY TUNED while I get my content posted, one day at a time.

Why did I name my blog “Minimelists”?
I am a believer of being a minimalist in terms of my lifestyle, food habits, makeup, travel ventures and all things alike. I prefer to live my life by the saying “Less is more” and “Money saved is money earned”. This may sound boring to many because there won’t be many things to drool over on this blog, not the typical jizz and jazz that you see over the internet, no Gucci, no Prada. Going minimal is one of my healthiest choices I have made in my life and I can’t wait to share almost everything about my life with this wonderful choice.

Occasionally I may post rants, my personal thoughts along with a mixed bag of unpredictable things you may never want to hear. But hey! I am only human and just like everyone else I too need a platform to express my emotions from time to time. Be it happiness, sadness or sheer pleasure, this blog and its followers will witness it all. If you decide to still go ahead and follow my routine madness and me, I just hope to form a much closer and deeper bond where you will witness the real ME.

From the brief description above, you may get a gist of what you can expect further down the line by following me. However, there are a few more personal things about me which are as follows:-

Eye color: – Brown, I wear colored lenses for my baby camera because I am practically blind without them.
Hair Color: – Brown.
Skin tone: – fair to medium with yellow undertones.
Skin type: – Dry and combination T-zone.
Height: – 5’4,
Weight: – Varies as I eat what I want when I want.
Skin concern:-Dryness, breakouts using certain products, tanning.
Shoe Size– 5-6 or 37/38

What I Like:-

Eyeliners and eyelash lengthening mascaras are my favorite. I love to wear lip balms instead of lipstick as I am not a lipstick person.

What I Dislike:-

Foundations and concealers that feel very heavy. I rather like using BB or CC creams.

I  watch:- Game Of Thrones, Supernatural, The Walking Dead, Spartacus, True Blood, American Horror Story, Everybody Loves Raymond, The Office UK & US, Pretty Little Liars, Small Ville, The Middle, Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory, and many more….

I listen to: – mostly hip hop, pop, classic, oldies, EDM, Bollywood, rap, Taylor Swift is my favorite, along with Eminem.

Zodiac Sign: Sagittarius- 4th December 1994.

I guess that’s it for now, but I will regularly update this section as and when my tastes changes. 🙂

  1. Oooooooooooooooooh, an Indian girl following me, a beautiful Asian hottie – thank you – and you’re so gorgeous toooooooo!!

Good luck in your studies and its so good to see a girl following the sciences – something we rarely see in the West and almost certainly why Asia will rule the world in the not too distant future – and with gorgeous girls like you running things soon, the world is sure to be a better place (as long as y’all keeping kissing me)!

    Thank you dah-ding – Cheers ~ ‘ter

  4. Hiya!

My name is Daniel, but you might know me as the Oddity Writer! Admittedly, I know nothing about beauty, but it’s always good to know that I’m reaching a variety of different people with different interests.

And hell, I may just stick around and read a few things. 🙂

So thank you again for stopping by my blog! I truly appreciate it. Have a great day!

    1. Hey Daniel , you’re most welcome, keep writing , liked reading your poems, and have a great day too. TC 🙂

  5. Thank you for following my blog and reading a few of my posts. I see you are in Mumbai. I have visited India several times with my wife. She was traveling for business. We’ve been to Pune and Bangalore several times and found both cities interesting. Frankly, Pune is a little boring as cities go, I much prefer Bangalore.

    1. your most welcome and sorry for the late reply.Yes i am currently pursuing my graduation degree from Mumbai 🙂 Wow u have been to Bangalore , my favorite city for a short getaway. Pune is indeed getting boring for me too. Someday do try Goa and Mumbai. Goa is amazing 🙂

      1. I’ve been to Mumbai, not a place I really want to visit. The first time we flew into Mumbai the jet overshot the airport by half an hour, I think the pilots may have been napping. We were heading out to sea, not the best of ideas. But I would like to visit Kashmir, the land of the five rivers. I have read a few books on the history and culture of India, an interesting study. I am more impressed with India as a study of culture than of China. As for education, I hope you are trying for your A-levels.
