Biotique Bio Fruit Whitening, Depigmentation & Tan Removal Pack Review

In today’s post, I wanted to talk about my newly found favorite go-to mask which is none other than the Biotique Bio Fruit Whitening, Depigmentation & Tan Removal Pack.  I am a sucker for good face masks and I make sure I have a good stock of them in my closet. I think by 2020 I would have tried all the masks in the world 😛 Just saying looking at the stock of product that I have. Recently I came across the Biotique brand. I have never ever tried this brand before and I was so excited to try an Ayurveda brand. Ayurveda products never seemed to work for me but this product did change my thinking. Ingredients: Multani mitti (Fuller’s earth), Geru (Garric), Yasad hhasma (Yasad bhasma), Tamator (Lycopersicum esculentum), Ananas (Ananas comosus), Kikargaund (Acacia Arabica), Paste base Q.S.

Packaging:

The face pack comes packaged in a small plastic container with an additional lid inside to avoid spillage. It is like a basic face pack packaging, nothing fancy to rave about. I generally prefer tubes over tubs as they are more hygienic to use and less messy.

My Experience with Biotique Bio Fruit Whitening, Depigmentation & Tan Removal Pack:

Initially, when I first smelled the product, it reminded of a mild detergent which my mum uses. Gradually as I began using this pack, I realized the fragrance is a fruity floral mild mix. The consistency of the mask is very thick. However, it spreads very well on the skin without any tugging or pulling. Since the pack is thick, one would expect it to take a longer time to dry but this does the opposite.

The color is pink- bubble gum pink. The first ingredient herein is Multani mitti so I was expecting it to become hard and stretchy upon drying but to my surprise, it was quite soft and gave no stretchy feel to the face upon drying. The face pack washes easily with no extra rubbing required. Immediately upon washing, skin feels soft and supple with a slight improvement in texture. Although, I don’t notice a complete whitening effect I’ve got to say it does brighten my skin and makes it look fresh.

I really love face packs that freshen my skin more than a face wash and this is one of them.  Also, post usage this doesn’t dry out my skin unlike most face packs with Multani mitti. I am so happy with this product and will continue o use it for a while. I use this mask twice a week and I feel this is one of the most gentle ones since I haven’t broken out yet using this.

What I Like about Biotique Bio Fruit Whitening and Depigmentation Face Pack:

• Ayurveda face pack with fruit ingredients.
• No parabens or other chemicals.
• Can be used by all skin types.
• Does not dry out the skin after washing.
• Lightens pimple marks to an extent
• Calms down the skin and gives a fresh feel.
• Makes skin soft and supple.

What I don’t like about Biotique Bio Fruit Whitening and Depigmentation Face Pack:

• Does not lighten and whiten skin as claimed
• Unhygienic tub packaging

Do I recommend: yes if you are looking for a simple, no fuss, freshen me up kind of a face mask then you can definitely pick this up and no if you expect it to make you 2-3 shades lighter and whiter, which btw no skincare product can do.
