Blogger Meet- Dabur Vatika Product Launch/Unveiling + Goodies/Experience/Fun/HairStyling

Hi guys, a day ago I was invited for a product launch event hosted by Dabur & IndiBlogger in Mumbai. This was my first event as a blogger and I really enjoyed myself to the fullest. Dabur Vatika launched a new product for frizzy hair called “Dabur Vatika Jasmine Non-Sticky Coconut Hair Oil” . I was really glad to spend my weekend at this launch event as all those who attended this event were pampered to the fullest with food , goodies , interactions and a lot more fun stuffs 🙂 Read on to know more.

How It Started & what happened after ?

So I was sent an invitation the previous day about this event. I immediately sent an RSVP of my attendance and I was told to reach BJ Hall, Mumbai on 10th October 2015 at 11:30 am. As soon as I reached the venue I saw many bloggers waiting outside the hall( Some were who I follow 🙂 ). Being my first meet I was really shy to speak to anyone so I decided to visit the washroom instead and pretend like a professional blogger 😛 :P. After around 10 minutes in the washroom a girl lost just like me entered and guess what, in the next 5 minutes we became long lost buddies. So we decided to stick together throughout the day. Later we were called in the hall (& boy the hall was really a grand one). We were asked to register ourselves and given an ID card and told to select our own personal table. After all that happened our team of 2 grew to become a team of 6 🙂

Indiblogger Band singing Lady Gaga & Pink Floyd 🙂 

Okay so the event started with a heavy metal band by IndiBlogger & they sang some of my favorite songs (Pink Floyd- We Don’t Need No Education) which got all the bloggers headbanging. I have never heard anyone singing Pink Floyd Live and that too in perfect metal pitch 🙂 . Also they sang Poker Face By Lady Gaga and I went crazy 😛  Just amazing. After the band we were given chilled tender coconut water with some yummy starters.

 Product Launching & Unveiling 

Before unveiling the product, we had an introduction session where each and every blogger gave a short and sweet intro of themselves and their work in the field of blogging as well as personal life.Then started the talks given by the head of Dabur, their Marketing Head as well a scientist who in grave detail explained all about the company’s history & their products and the scientific aspect that make their products work. Today Dabur is a 1000cr Company worldwide. After the talks the product was unveiled.

Funniest Moment of the day was when I saw a life sized Oil Bottle making an entry on the stage along with smoke effects and lighting. Felt like a scene from Star Trek 😛 😛 

And there it was revealed 🙂 ….After this we spent our time playing games(We played Rock,paper,scissors but in this the loser had to get their hair messed up by the winner —I lost in the first round itself ,luckily my partner did not ruin my hair)and trying to win on the spot contests.

Lunch 

As soon as the clock turned 2 we made our way to a nice Buffet Lunch. There was Italian, Indian & lots of deserts. We girls decided to go Italian for a day, and the food was just amazing. Not forgetting the yummy blueberry cheesecake and Ferrero Rocher Ice-Cream

Nobody was allowed to leave the hall without a bag of goodies,  this is what I got :-

2. Dabur Vatika Coconut Hair Oil (the best launched product by Dabur)
3. Philips Smooth & Shine Hair Straightener( This was gift wrapped 🙂 )

Also we bloggers got our hair pampered with champi/shampoo & hairstyling 🙂
