ELF Shimmer Sheets Review In Golden & Pink

After a month long examination, I am finally back on my blog. Some months ago, my sweet sis-in-law came down from USA, through her I ordered some ELF cosmetics. I ordered ELF shimmer sheets just out of curiosity  😛 . I have never heard or seen any such product in India so decided to give it a try and yes I do love this product. Read on to know more.

These lightly dusted shimmer sheets create a gorgeous, healthy glow on the apples of the cheeks, décolleté, or anywhere you desire. Perfect for on-the-go shimmer and applying color instantly without the mess and hassle of carrying around a brush. Simply sweep a single Shimmer Sheet over the desired area for an instant dust of beautiful color. 20 sheets included

Shades available:-Currently there are 4 colors i.e. pearl, pink, golden and bronze.

 How to Use(From elf website):– Gently remove a single sheet from the envelope. Press the shimmer side of the paper on the apples of your cheeks, décolleté or anywhere else you would like to add a beautiful glow.Use daily as often as desired.

My Experience:-

Like I said I brought this product solely based on curiosity. I wasn’t expecting it to be a very great product for the price and when it comes to ELF, it’s quite obvious to think the same. This is a multi-use product which comes in a really neat packaging. It’s thin, light to carry in an envelope form package. The sheets are placed inside this pocket envelope which opens just like a card. All 20 sheets are again packed in a plastic cover to avoid product wastage.

Coming to the sheets, the color golden  is basically a darker gold shade nearing bronze whereas pink is a bright shade.These sheets extremely pigmented and highly blend-able. One touch is all it takes for shimmer to transfer on your fingers or your brush or anything in contact. Also this particular shade of gold suits my skin tone (fair) very well. Works extremely well for me as a highlighter, eye shadow, body shimmer and a lip shimmer. It also has a very lasting effect as it fades very slowly through the day. The only problem is that it is very messy to use, as shimmer transfers easily onto anything that is in contact with it. Care needs to be taken during application while trying not to go overboard with shimmer. Only half the sheet maybe required.
