Hey Guys, so I finally got a chance to review another favorite brand of mine-“Estee Lauder”. Some months ago I got an Estee Lauder complete gift set which had everything from eyeshadows to eyeliners to lipliners to lipsticks to makeup remover along with brushes (phew) and what not đ
So today I will be doing a combined review of two lipsticks that I got in that set. The set was purchased from Macy’s. I have used both on a regular basis. Read on to know more.
Candy Shimmer:- This is a bright hot pink with alot of shimmer in it. Totally suitable for party wear or nighttime wear.
Exotic Orchid:- This is another shimmer lipstick but with very less shimmer. The shade is more  like a tomato red. Very bright vermilion in short.Â

An innovation in lipstick formulation that makes it possible to have long wear, high shine and lip treatment benefits at the same time. Pure color. Extreme comfort and protection. Incredible shine. Long wear. Apply prime fx lip amplifying base for fuller lips and to improve the longevity of lip color. Shape the lips with automatic lip pencil duo. Fill in with pure color lipstick.
Although these are on the costlier side, I am very glad I got to try these in their holiday kits which made it really cheap hence the bullet looks a bit different from the original packaging as shown in the featured picture.
Both shades are shimmery and may not be suitable for workwear or day time use. Just like any high brand lipstick these apply like a dream and are extremely very comfortable to wear. Lasting power is good say about 5-6 hours. Does not settle into fine lines and such. Has a very strong fragrance which may affect sensitive noses. Overall I am very happy with them as they provide a good coverage too.Â
