Hey Guys,

I hope everyone is doing well. If you guys are aware of the ongoing trends, then good for you:). One of the most famous trends in Asia is using Fermented skincare products. Although fermented products smell bad, they tend to provide numerous skin benefits. I am so glad that Loreal has brought this trend in India. Thankfully they don’t smell as bad as the natural counterpart.

In today’s post, I will be talking about one of the most hyped product in  Asian countries. It’s none other than the L’Oreal Youth Code Skin Activating Ferment Pre-Essence. This pre-essence is one of the best selling beauty product in Singapore as of today. The first time I tried it, I thought that Loreal was selling us the same product in different packaging. By this I mean it resembled the Eye Essence in terms of everything. I have already reviewed the Eye Essence in my previous post. (If you want to read it then Click HERE) .

My Experience with the L’Oreal Youth Code Skin Activating Ferment Pre-Essence

Initially, when I first tried out this essence, I thought Loreal was trying to fool us. The Pre-essence is almost similar to the Eye essence from the same range. But when I saw the ingredients I realized they were different. The pre-essence has a stronger fragrance and it actually smells amazing. The packaging of the pre-essence is also similar and I really love the black glass bottle Its looks super elegant on my vanity. Unlike the eye essence, the pre essence comes with a dropper to dispense the correct amount of product.

Coming to the texture and consistency, it feels so lightweight and soothing. The consistency is somewhat like a runny white gel. On application, it gets absorbed into the skin within seconds. There is no greasiness left behind. It also acts like a primer that helps blur pores and fine lines. I use it daily under my makeup and it works like a bomb. Due to its super hydrating effect, my makeup looks nontextured. Having been using this essence since the past 2 weeks, I can say that I really love how radiant my skin is getting. Day after day I do feel my skin texture improving and I am sure it has to be this serum. One drop is enough for the entire face. It spreads super smoothly. Skin instantly looks refreshed with a burst of youthfulness.

Post application the skin looks plumped and very hydrated. I was surprised at first at how happy my dry skin looked. I am very sure that oily skin beauties too will love it as this does not leave any greasiness left behind. The only thing that I hate about this product is the heavy glass packaging. I love traveling with my skin care products everywhere I go, but since its glass, I tend to use it while I am home.

I would recommend this product to anyone who is in their 20’s if you desire bouncy radiant skin. If you’re in your 30’s then try this if you desire a smoother skin texture. If you’re in your 40’s try this if you want to blur out fine lines a little.
