Maybelline Baby Lips Bright Out Loud Vivid Peach Review

Hello everyone, it feels so good to be around my family this festive season. Hope everyone is doing well. If you guys have read my previous reviews you must be aware of my love for lip balms. So the first thing that I purchased this festive season where the newly launched. Currently, Maybelline has launched 4 shades in India. Somehow peach is one shade I can always choose blindly since it goes very well with my skin tone. Read on to know how it fared.

My Experience:
Packaging:
We all know how every Maybelline baby lips balm comes in the cutest bubbled packaging ever. The lip balm comes in a bright coral orange packaging with green wordings all over it as seen in the picture. It has everything nicely written over the outer cover (right from the product description to the ingredients) with the sleek lip balm lying inside. This lip balm is sleeker than the others and is very handy too. The lip balm packaging completely reminded me of the color changing bloom lip balms again by Maybelline, the only difference being that this lip balm does not magically change its color. I like carrying these in my pocket almost every time I step out of my home. The twisty thing at the bottom works perfectly well to raise up the bullet.

Fragrance:
To be honest I was completely surprised with the variation in the fragrance of this lip balm. I was expecting it to be fruity or at least floral like most of the baby lips balms out there.  This lip balm has a strong minty fragrance which is not at all overpowering but gives a nice menthol feel on opening. The fragrance after application barely lasts for a couple of minutes after which it fades of completely.
Texture, Quality, and Application:
The texture of this lip balm is extremely smooth and glides on very swiftly without any tugging or pulling. It has the same feeling as the previously launched Baby Lips Balms so there is no difference in that area. This lip balm is heavily moisturizing on an application which is apt for dry lip beauties like me. Long term usage can help in the healing of chapped lips. Like I said the fragrance is minty and so is the effect on the application. It initially has a cooling effect which fades off completely in a couple of minutes. The lip balm is extremely pigmented and one swipe is enough for a complete coverage on lightly pigmented lips. More pigmented lips may require 2-3 swipes to bring out the true color. The shade vivid peach is a nice warm peach shade having warm undertones.  One of the best things I like about this lip balm is that it comes with SPF 13 which is quite the need during the daytime. The lip balm has a staying power of around 3+ hours which is what any other average lip balm would provide with meals in between. On fading, the lip balm leaves a nice peachy tint behind which looks natural.
Overall:
I feel Maybelline has done a great job again but with a surprisingly minty twist. I really loved this lip balm since it holds true to its claims.

Yes yes and a million more yes J I am so in love with every Maybelline Lip Balm I have owned till date and this is the definitely the most loved one. Do give this a try if you are a lip balm person like me and are fond of bright bold colors.
