Recently there was an offer from Colorbar where they were giving these newly launched wipes free on the purchase of products worth Rs 3000 and above. Since I shopped on 2 separate occasions for Rs 3000(ie Rs 6000 approx in all ) I got 2 packs of wipes free 🙂 I used it for a couple of times and here is the review of the same.
Price: Rs 400 for 30 wipes
My Experience with Colorbar On The Go Makeup Remover Wipes:-
Packaging – The wipes come in a vibrant pink packet with a flip top cap. The wipes are protected with a stick-on which retains the moisture of the wipes. The sheets are big enough to remove the makeup of the entire face. The details about the products are mentioned at the back side of the packet.
The wipes are pretty soft and does not scratch the skin while removing makeup. The size being big enough, one wipe is sufficient for regular makeup removal. If you are into heavy makeup, with lots of waterproof stuff in them, you might end up using 2 wipes.
Considering a lady wears kajal and lipstick/gloss with compact for regular makeup, it works just fine; but it failed to remove mascara for me. Also the wipes could have been a bit more saturated to remove makeup completely. Not complaining much as I am using it only to remove the leftover lipstick (post meal) or smudged kohl. It works pretty fine that way.
Pros of Colorbar On The Go Makeup Remover Wipes:-
- Nice packaging.
- Easy to carry.
- Does not scratch the skin.
- Does not burn the eyes.
- No funny smell.
Cons of Colorbar On The Go Makeup Remover Wipes:-
- Does not remove mascara properly.
- Bit expensive for 30 wipes.
Here I have swatched the products on my hand :-
As you can see it fails to remove any waterproof makeup completely unless you scrub your skin really bad. Works well for light makeup only.
My Rating :- 3/5
I would not repurchase, neither would recommend this, but if you get this free with purchase , grab it for touch-up on the go.
