Till then I will be reviewing this face makeup that I purchased. I will be reviewing it in shade B00 Soft Almond. This is the lightest one in this range.

The Dream Satin Skin Two way cake is a powder foundation you can use either dry (to set liquid foundation) or with a damp sponge to get higher coverage. The powder has a soft, blendable texture and but isn’t so soft/powdery that you end up with loads of fall out. The shade once again was a touch light for me and it really shows when I use it with a damp sponge because of the higher coverage. But I can get away using this powder to set my foundation in the centre of my face. It gives light coverage, softens the look of pores (which most powders do) and mattifies though I’m sad to report the oil control over time isn’t impressive. Maybe on a more mattifying foundation, you won’t have much of an issue but over the Dream Satin skin liquid foundation, this does a poor job of keeping oil in check. Once again, this isn’t something I would recommend for oily skin. I do like the packaging though and I see myself using this more in the winters when my skin isn’t so oily.

It is supposedly a two-way cake, but I do not think it works in the wet form at all. It gives coverage to blemishes to an extent, but its biggest flaw is that it looks very cakey on me. I guess the shade I got is wrong for me. A little amount will go a long way, and applying too much will leave a whitish cast. The texture is a boon to oily skinned beauties as it controls oil well for 3+ hours. It does clog up the pores. My sister likes it better and it suits her skin well. This compact looks very cakey on me and tends to highlight dry patches, so it will not suit dry skinned beauties that well.

- Simple yet classy packaging.
- Comes with a full-sized mirror.
- Travel-friendly packaging.
- Finely milled powder.
- Smooth texture.
- Controls shine for around 3 hours.
- Has an SPF of 32.
- Does not work in the wet form.
- Highlights dry patches, not for dry skinned beauties.
- Shade selection is not very wide.
- It gives a cakey finish.
My Rating:-
I think there are better options out there, but this may suit oily-skinned beauties. I feel it is slightly overpriced for just an average powder.
Seems like a very promising product … Nice review 😁
It is indeed 🙂
